Mary Kiedrowski · Founding Attorney
experience, on your side
Big-brand experience. Direct, personal counsel.
Sound legal counsel sits alongside the business, respects commercial momentum, and helps leaders make confident decisions. For years, Mary served at the leadership table for some of the country’s most recognized consumer brands, guiding high-stakes advertising, customer negotiations, and commercial agreements where legal rigor and business momentum had to work together.
Today, she brings that same caliber of in-house counsel directly to food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, and e-commerce brands, without the layers or overhead of a traditional law firm.
Over more than fourteen years in-house at General Mills, Mary served as lead counsel to its cereal business, North American Retail Sales organization, and Canadian market. She advised the teams behind Cheerios, Lucky Charms, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch on advertising claims, labeling, pricing, and key customer negotiations.
Earlier, she was chief counsel and a member of the leadership team for General Mills’ Meals & Baking business, home to Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Annie’s, Old El Paso, and Progresso. Her work spanned marketing, innovation, sales, supply chain, and competition law. She also led legal counsel for Blue Buffalo during its integration into General Mills.
Before moving in-house, Mary practiced at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, representing clients in complex intellectual property, contract, and antitrust disputes. That litigation background informs her counseling today: understanding where a dispute can lead helps her give clear advice before it starts.
